Block Paved Driveway Installation in South Darenth

Excavation & Ground Preparation

Edging & Driveway Installation

To define the driveway and retain the structure, new block edging was installed around the perimeter. This provides strength to the overall installation while giving a neat and well-finished border.

A sharp sand bedding layer was then applied and screeded to achieve a smooth, level surface ready for the blocks.

The new block paving was laid in a traditional pattern, with careful attention to alignment, spacing and consistency across the entire driveway. A contrasting border was incorporated to frame the driveway and enhance the overall appearance, adding a clean and modern finish.

Finishing Touches

Once the blocks were laid, kiln-dried sand was brushed into all joints to lock the paving securely in place. The entire surface was then compacted to ensure durability and a long-lasting finish.
